~~ What is a cobyzaby? ~~
One day, my partner said he made up a new word to describe the feeling of laying in a comfy bed: "cobyzaby." It's a silly little combination of "cozy" and "baby." The word gets stuck in my head a lot, so I decided to name this site after it. ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
~~ Why the weird cave aesthetic then? ~~
Because I think it's neat :)
(I have a longer answer for those of you who aren't satisfied with that.)
~ The Formation of the Cave ~

I had made websites before (see: Toadsbey's Place, Tempest Time), but I used premade CSS frameworks like bootstrap and skeleton to construct them. I wanted to make a site without using those as a crutch, while also making pages that had relatively easily-legible code. That way, if the CSS broke, you could probably still find your way around a page alright. Plus, it makes future edits easier.

So, what to put on this new website? Collections! Collections of collections! What else are websites, really? I began to think of my project here as becoming a dragon hoarding information rather than gold. And sharing it, of course. So maybe not very much like a dragon. But the image stuck so much that when I wanted to change the aesthetic of the site from pastel to dark, the idea of a digital cave seemed like a pretty natural direction.
